The Basics (When & Where)

When is the 2026 Singing School?
The school runs from Sunday, July 12 to Friday, July 17, 2026.

Where is the event held?
We are hosted by Eastern Oklahoma State College located in Wilburton, Oklahoma. All classes, dormitories, and cafeteria meals take place on campus.

Who is eligible to attend?

  • Song Worship Leading: Men, 16 years or older.

  • Sight Singing & Hymn Writing: Men and Women, 16 years or older.

  • Boys Intro Lessons: If there is interest, an introductory afternoon class will be available for boys ages 11-15 who are attending the week with their family. (Registration is not required for this specific afternoon session).

  • (Note: There is no dedicated Women’s Class for the 2026 session).

Registration & Costs

How much does tuition and housing cost? Room and Board is calculated per person and covers your lodging and meals for the duration of the school. Tuition for your selected course (Song Worship Leading, Sight Singing, or Hymn Writing) is included in these bundles:

  • Premium (Double Occupancy): $640 ($660 after June 15)

  • Standard (Single Occupancy): $720 ($740 after June 15)

  • Standard (Double Occupancy): $575 ($595 after June 15)

  • Off-Campus (Tuition Only): $270 anytime

What if I am coming just for the Fellowship (No Classes)? If you are attending with family but not taking classes, discounted room and board rates apply:

  • Premium (Double Occupancy): $390 ($410 after June 15)

  • Standard (Single Occupancy): $450 ($470 after June 15)

  • Standard (Double Occupancy): $305 ($325 after June 15)

When is the deadline for early-bird pricing? Register on or before June 15, 2026, to secure the early-bird rates. On June 16th, all on-campus room and board options increase by $20.

Are there scholarships or financial aid available? Yes.

  • We have limited scholarship funds available for students in need.
  • We also offer interest-free loans up to the full cost of tuition, room, and board upon request (loans must be repaid by October 1 of the school year). Please email us at singingschool@gmail.com for details.
  • For your convenience, we also offer a Buy Now Pay Later option via Paypal that allows you to spread your payments out. That is a Paypal feature and is available during your checkout process.
Arrival & Campus Life

When is Check-in and Check-out?

  • Check-in:

    • Saturday, July 11: 4:00-9:00pm

    • Sunday, July 12: 2:00-4:00pm

  • Check-out: Friday morning, July 17. Thursday night will be our final night in the dorms. We will depart Friday morning following breakfast and a short singing/devotional.

When is the first meal served? Sunday supper will be the first meal served in the college cafeteria.

Can I stay off-campus? Absolutely. If you prefer to arrange your own lodging, there are local motels and RV campgrounds in the Wilburton area. You can still purchase individual meals directly from the college cafeteria if you wish.

What are the rules for non-students or family members attending? All non-students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult student or family member who is responsible for them and their daily activities. Several of the song leading classes and some activities are open to all family members and guests at no charge!

What is the code of conduct? All attendees and guests are expected to conduct themselves in harmony with the principles of Christ throughout the week.

Post-Registration Requirements

Are there any forms I need to fill out after I register?
Yes, depending on your age and course:

  • Song Leaders Skills Questionnaire: All registered song leaders need to complete this brief questionnaire ASAP so we can place you in the correct class based on your current skill level. Click Here To Submit Questionnaire
  • Medical Information Form: Required only for attendees under 18 years of age who are NOT accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please print, fill out, and bring this with you to check-in. Click Here to Download Medical Form
